The Muslim Justice Initiative

The Muslim Justice Initiative was founded in 2008 in response to a series of injustices perpetrated against Muslims. Due to elements such as religious intolerance, racism, and hypocrisy many Muslims have been subjected to very inhumane treatment such as surveillance, harassment, threats, imprisonment, and even torture.

Our main focus is bringing cases of severe oppression and wickedness into the public spotlight through a series of workshops, lectures, and presentations in order to advocate social change. The MJI website will serve as a means to expose injustices, as well as garner support, and pool resources from concerned individuals and organizations interested in bringing justice to these individuals and their families.

Unfortunately, due to a lack of resources we are only able to focus on a very limited number of cases but have provided links to other such cases in the ‘Cases Section’.
